Addressing this problem involves protecting conservation areas and restoring damaged ecosystems. An ecosystem-based approach can help restore environmental stability. Solutions to address climate change must involve collaboration between government, the private sector and society. The use of renewable energy, such as solar and wind power, is an important option to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. The use of sophisticated monitoring technology can help optimize water use in the agricultural and residential sectors. Global climate change is a complex challenge that requires a multidimensional approach.
